Since 1992, Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers and their expert, caring staff has served children, adolescents, and their families who are struggling as a result of abuse and trauma. Our staff includes a wide variety of certifications and educational attainments, including staff with M.Ed., LPC, ICAADC, ICCJP, MSW, LCSW, QCSW, Board Certified Physicians, a Board Certified Psychiatrist, and a Licensed Psychologist. But more than all of the professional credentials, our dedicated staff are carefully selected for their care and compassion that they exude each and every day.

The Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers Team: Our Expertise

The professional staff on the Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers team includes the following:

• Board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists
• A licensed psychologist
• Licensed clinical social workers
• Licensed professional counselors
• A licensed behavioral specialist
• A board-certified behavioral analyst
• Other mental health professionals with certifications in trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)

In addition, our clinical staff is comprised of graduate and undergraduate level professionals, certified addiction counselors, professionals certified in sexual health treatment, and highly experienced youth development counselors.

Our program staff has expertise in all of the following clinical treatment areas and therapeutic approaches:

• Strategic family therapy
• Motivational interviewing
• Trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT)
• Anger management
• Child abuse
• Child and adolescent development, family therapy, grief therapy, group therapy, reality and person-centered therapies, natural consequences vs. punishment, sexual victimization, sexually harmful behavior, and outcome-based grief therapy.
